Internet Phones Ring Up Service And Savings

Company deploys nationwide IP Phone network to better serve expanding client base

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Aug. 4, 2002 – American Web Services, Inc., a developer of Internet business solutions, has deployed a nationwide IP Phone network. Using IP phones, both data and PBX services can be provided over a single Internet circuit. With less hardware and wiring to install and maintain, IP phones offer savings in both infrastructure costs and installation time.

The new system seamlessly connects on-site staff at all offices with remote workers at home or with a client. If someone is not at their desk, the system even provides the option to find someone on their cell phone. The system also delivers voice mail as audio files to the employees email.
