American Web Services acquires River City Internet Providers
SACRAMENTO, Calif., Sep. 1, 2005 – American Web Services, Inc., a developer of Internet business solutions, has acquired River City Internet Providers, a regional Internet Service Provider and hosting company. The combined operations of the two companies will serve more than 2,500 customers in Northern California and beyond.
River City Internet Providers, also known as RCIP, was founded in 1996 and has been providing dial-up, ISDN and T1 connectivity to California.
