American Web provides IT support to RNC in Minneapolis - St. Paul
ST. PAUL, Minnesota., Sep. 3, 2008 – As the California Republican Party sends a delegation of members to the National Convention to select the Republican candidate for President, it promises to be an interesting event. California has the largest delegation at the convention, totaling more than 1,200 delegates, alternates, staff and families.
This year, American Web also provided IT support services at the party convention in Burbank, California in advance of the main event. Each of the delegates were photographed and security badges prepared in advance of the Convention. "Political events can shift quickly," said Charles Moran, Delegation Media Director. "we appreciate the ‘last minute hustle’ of American Web."
In addition to supporting the delegation, American Web also deployed a web portal for the Young Republican Alumni, a non-profit group. "We enjoyed working with the Republicans this year," said Ed Williams, Chief Technology Officer of American Web. "They have always been open to using new technologies."
