SACRAMENTO, Calif., March 23, 2011 – At yesterday’s Sacramento City Council meeting, Ed Williams, Chief Technology Officer of American Web, was appointed to the Small Business Development and Employment Advisory Board.
"Mayor Johnson challenged the citizens of Sacramento to volunteer, and this board presented an opportunity to help small businesses answer that call," said Williams. He was appointed to serve under Category A, which represents the small business sector and/or possess substantial knowledge and experience concerning the operation of small businesses in the Sacramento area.
"Good small business legislation is important to the recovery of our economy," said James Barker, Executive Director of American Web, "and we are proud that one of our team members can support those efforts in Sacramento."
