Sacramento Celebrates Diversity

American Web sponsors Sacramento World Music & Dance Festival

SACRAMENTO, Calif., September 9, 2009 – The Sacramento World Music and Dance Festival returns for a second year, expanding to include a weekend street festival in Old Sacramento. The Festival showcases the cultural diversity of the Sacramento region through the presentation of ethnic dance from around the world by local talent. "It’s extraordinary that dancers and musicians with ties from all over the globe will be performing right here in Sacramento," said Lina Fat, Executive Chef of Fat’s Restaurants and Chair of the Festival.

There is something for everyone with this free family festival:

"Sacramento is California’s most diverse city and American Web is proud to support an organization that encourages the interconnectedness of our community with performance arts," said Ed Williams, Chief Technology Officer for American Web and Webmaster for the Festival. In addition to American Web, the event is sponsored by Fat Family Restaurants and Wells Fargo.
